Impress Manicure Canada Voxbox Review.

Hello Everyone!

I have another review for you today! It's on another VoxBox that I was lucky enough to receive and review thanks to Influenster!

The Voxbox I received was the Impress Manicure Canada Voxbox.  The contents of the voxbox included 2 press on manicure from Impress. Now I have received this before in the first Canada Voxbox sent out, so I had already had a go at this before. I'm going to let you know right off the bat this is not my favourite!

So these are the 2 manicures that I received! First off I love the colours! The villains colour is my favourite, I could totally see myself wear this with a black dress, for a date night or night out with the girls! I loved the mirrored (holographic) effect and it screams sexy to me! Haha. The second one is something I could wear on a regular basis. Nothing too fancy, but still something I would wear!

So lets get on to the claims..

APPLY IN MINUTES

- Yes! This was super easy to apply, and definitely did the job when I was in a rush and running behind while getting ready for my friends wedding. I did not have time to paint my nails, and with this it took minutes, and didn't have to worry about smearing my nail polish while running out the door! It didn't require any glue, and you just had to press it on to the nail and you were good to go!

WONT DAMAGE NAILS

- Yes! Easily put! The 'glue' used in the press on manicure is so gentle I noticed no damage when these were removed!

REMOVES IN SECONDS

- Yes! This is true as well, it was undamaging to the nail, which I loved and super easy to remove. You could just peel it off and not damage the nail. It was so easy in fact they fell off before you even wanted them too.. Okay I'm getting ahead of myself here.. this leads us onto the last claim..

LASTS UP TO A WEEK

- BIG FAT NO! This is why I would never purchase this product, and this is why I am so disappointed with this product!! Now, I know this claims has a * beside it, but it doesn't even last an hour! Honestly before I even made it to the wedding I wore this too one fell off! I wasn't even doing anything crazy! I was pulling Cayden's zippy cup out of the diaper bag and 'POP goes the weasel!" By the end of the night, I had 3 fingers missing nails! I was so embarrassed, I pulled the rest of them off.

So all in all.. this seems amazing, but it isn't. It isn't something I would purchase myself, and I find that extremely disappointing as it seemed like the best quick and says mommy manicure. All I can say is save yourself the money, and buy the good old glue on ones!

I hope you all enjoyed my review! Thanks for reading, I'll catch ya next time!!

Mystery Brand Vox Box / Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser Review

Hello Everyone!

So today's blogpost is a little different. This is actually going to be the first review I am posting on my blog, and let me tell you I am pretty excited!

I don't know if you have all heard about the website Influenster, but I know a lot of beauty gurus will have reviews on their VoxBoxes every once in a while, but this is not only geared towards "Beauty" It's geared toward Mothers, Nature Lovers, Animal Lovers, Fitness enthusiasts, you name it! It's amazing!! Oh and did I mention it's completely FREE to join and be a part of it!?!

All you have to do to receive a box it fill out a couple quizzes that interest you, and companies send you free items to review! Sounds awesome doesn't it?!

I was lucky enough to be chosen to participate in the VoxBox I am about to review for you!

The VoxBox I was chosen to review was called the Mystery Brand Voxbox. It was a little different then their usual voxboxes. This Vox Box came in 2 parts. First you received 3 samples of different hair products, and all you were told was that they were by the company Lorel, and it was geared towards damaged hair but not what exact product it was.

So if you all know me well enough, you know I am obsessed with my long hair, and keeping it as healthy as can be!! SO I could not wait to get my hands on these goodies!

So my first box looked a little like this!

Inside the box included a sample of shampoo, conditioner and a split end serum. First things first, when I first opened this box it smelt like HEAVEN! Seriously.. it was amazing.

So let's get to what I thought of these products!!

First the shampoo!

As I said.. the smell.. AMAZING! Not only did it smell in the bottle, it made my hair smell so good after! I always get so disappointed when I buy this shampoo that smells so amazing but the smell doesn't stick to my hair. If you get what I'm saying? But as for the shampoo itself, it did it's job.. I mean it's like any basic shampoo, it got my hair clean. But the smell.. AMAZING! Have I said that enough!? Lol. If I was to buy this again, it would definitely be for the smell, it doesn't stand out in any other exceptional way to me.

The conditioner!

Again, this smells just as amazing! I enjoyed this more then the shampoo, it detangled my hair so well! I hate when I buy a conditioner, and it doesn't detangle my hair! It felt really nice, and left my hair feeling soft and shiny! I would definitely pick this one up again!!

The serum!

I loved this! Now I didn't expect miracles, because I believe it even states it helps PREVENT split ends, not get rid of them. We all know the horrible truth, if you have split ends, the only way to get rid of them is to cut our precious hair!! But this did make my ends appear less frizzy, and tame! And I will definitely keep it in my hair routine as it is lightweight, and not sticky, and I will do ANYTHING to prevent split ends!

So 2 weeks pass, and I am getting ready for the BIG REVEAL! I knew I would be getting some full size products, but I didn't know if I would get all of the ones I tried or really what to expect. I honestly had NO idea what it could be. I didn't have a clue if it was high end, or drugstore.

So when I got this is in the mail I was pleasantly surprised!!

First off Garnier is a brand I am familiar with, and I love their Pure Clean line!! I use it as a clarifying shampoo all the time. As well i was so excited that this was drugstore, as we all know I am a mom, and didn't want to fall in LOVE with something that I couldn't afford to purchase again in the future!! I was SHOCKED to see they sent me full size products of all their line! And included one that I hadn't tried.

Reconstructing Butter

Not going to lie, I was most excited about the deep conditioning hair butter!! I have been looking for a good deep conditioner for a long time, and really didn't have the money to splurge on the Macadamia deep repair mask, so this was a god send!! Again.. the SMELL .. AMAZING. The constancy is kind of a mix between a regular conditioner and the Macadamia deep repair mask. It is thick, but not SUPER thick. This feels so good after I wash it out. Seriously, my hair is soft, fluffy and frizz free. I don't find it weighs down my hair which is a plus. I will for sure be adding this into my regular hair care routine because who doesn't love an amazing deep conditioner at an AMAZING price!

Anyways, thats my review on this amazing box! Thank you again to Influenster for sending me these products to review! I am excited to add a lot of these into my regular hair routine!

I hope you all enjoyed reading this review as well!

I'm Back!

Hello Everyone!

WOW, Has it sure been while since I wrote on this blog! Lets be honest, I started it, and after my little man was born it hit the back burner and fell apart!

So what is my plan now with this blog?

Well first off what would you like to see from me? I plan on doing more in depth reviews on mommy and baby products, as I don't see the need to fill up my channel with just reviews. I don't believe that would be what you guys want to see. This way on my blog I can go a little more in depth, and only if you are interested in it do you have to check it out.

I also am going to use this blog as an outlet of my feelings on being a new mother. The stresses, the fun and the chaos!

And lastly, I am going to put monthly updates on my main man here! I haven't done any updates on him on my youtube as I don't want to plaster Cayden all over the internet. I just get scared with all the creeps out there, and don't want to have his face all out there. I hope you all understand.

So if you ever did look at my blog when I first started it you may also notice that I revamped the look of it as well. I slowly have been able to understand how to work this whole blog thing.. haha. What do you think ??

Anyways that's all for this mama this time! Please check back as I will be having more post here this time.. I promise!!

xoxo,

Michelle

Is it time yet?

So I am 39 weeks and 4 days today, and getting a little anxious! I can NOT wait to meet this beautiful baby boy!

I have definitely been trying EVERYTHING to induce myself naturally! Going for walks, spicy food, sex (yes I said it...) , pineapple, red raspberry leaf tea, and bouncing on my exercise ball. Is there anything I missed?

I have started feeling cramping all the time though, and then I'm sitting there thinking.. Is this it!?! Is it time!? And then they go away which is so disappointing. I know I'm not 40 weeks yet, but I want him here ASAP, and I have this feeling deep down that I will be going over my due date. :(

I want him to stay in there as long as he needs too. But I definitely don't want to have to be induced. I would much rather experience going into labour naturally. That being said my doctor said he would not let me go over 10 days overdue. So I know I will have this little boy in my arms by March 21st/2013 by the LATEST! Which is less then 2 weeks away!

Anyways, I feel like I am just babbling at this point..

38 VS. 39 Weeks

My First Blog!

So I have decided to finally begin blogging! Sometimes blogging is easier I must admit. It's hard sometimes with everything that is going on to find the time to sit down and be able to record a video!

So I know I missed my 36 week update, but I plan on having my 37 week update uploaded to my pregnancy channel on thursday!

For those who have decided to check out my blog, I can fill you in on a little that is going on!

I am cramping all the time now. As you all know I was in the hospital a couple weeks ago with contractions. Since then I have began to feel so uncomfortable! I'm out of breathe all the time, and feel him moving around so low in my stomach. If I walk for long distances, I begin to get such bad cramping. I have a feeling that I will not be making it to 40 weeks, but who knows?

I just can't wait to meet my son. Seeing other youtubers such as Lindsay and Channing with their newborns makes me so jealous! But I definitely want my son to stay in there until he is ready to come out. Speaking of which, my doctor has been a little concerned about my size. Which obviously concerns me! :( Nothing to the point of wanting me to have an ultrasound, but he was asking if I was smoking or anything that may affect his weight. Which I am not! But then he told me not to worry and he should gain weight within the next couple weeks! But my scare is what if he doesn't stay in there that long?

Anyways I don't want to get into everything, and I have another DRs appointment on thurs, so I am sure I will know more before I film my 37 week update!

Which btw I am 37 weeks today! yay! Full TERM! Anyday now! :)

Xoxo,

Mickee
